About THE waycroft-woodlawn neighborhood

Waycroft-Woodlawn, a community established in the 1930’s, is located in the northern section of Arlington, Virginia. Nestled among mature trees, flowering plants and shrubs, its rolling hills and gardens today host nearly 580 homes, an elementary school, two churches, Capital Caring Hospice, the Virginia Hospital Center Healing Garden and Woodlawn Park. Bordering the community is Virginia Hospital Center - an acclaimed health complex.

Numerous universities, shopping and varied dining experiences can be found in nearby Ballston and the Lee Highway corridor. Waycroft-Woodlawn students have access to some of the Virginia’s premier public schools. Commuters appreciate its proximity to major thoroughfares and public transportation, whether to Washington DC or elsewhere in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia Metro area.)
